Virtual Tax Preparation Services
Virtual tax preparation for T1 personal and T2 corporate returns. EFILE-certified, encrypted portal upload, CRA correspondence included. Serving Ontario and Canadians out of province.
What is virtual tax preparation, and who is it for?
Virtual tax preparation is a fully remote service: you upload your slips to our encrypted portal, an Ontario Tax Team accountant prepares your return, and we EFILE it to the CRA after a quick Zoom or Teams review. The whole engagement runs from your kitchen table, your office, or a hotel in another time zone.
Most of our virtual clients fall into one of four groups. Snowbirds spending the winter in Florida or Arizona. Remote employees who moved out of the GTA but want to keep their Ontario-based accountant. Incorporated business owners filing a T1 and a T2 in the same engagement. And families anywhere in Canada who would rather not take half a day off work for an in-person appointment.
We handle personal (T1) and corporate (T2) returns, prior-year filings, and CRA reassessments. Our EFILE certification means returns go straight from our software to the CRA, with no paper mail-in and no PDF e-signatures bouncing around. Need a quote on your specific situation? How does virtual tax preparation work, step by step?
Three steps from start to filed: upload, review, approve. Most clients finish the whole process in under an hour of their own time.
Upload Your Documents
Use our secure portal to upload your T4s, T5s, receipts, and any other tax slips. We send you a personalised checklist so you know exactly what we need, plus the deadline we are working to.
Expert Review and Preparation
Your accountant reviews every slip, applies the deductions and credits you qualify for, and prepares your return for the lowest legal tax bill. We flag anything missing before we file.
Review and Approval
We walk you through your return on a Zoom or Teams call (or by email, if you prefer). Once you sign the T183 authorisation, we EFILE directly to the CRA and send you the confirmation.
How much does virtual tax preparation cost?
We quote a flat fee based on the forms involved (T1 with or without T776 or T2125, T2 with or without Schedule 8, prior-year catch-ups). No hourly surprises, no charge for follow-up CRA correspondence on returns we prepare. Book a free 15-minute consultation and we will send you a written quote the same day.
